Ellinor is a girl, she is 14 years old. She has brown hair and green eyes. She’s tall. She once had two cats and one rabbit, but they all died. Marte is a girl. She is 14 years old. She has blond curly hair and blue eyes. She is not very tall, she’s about 1,58 meters. She has a cute dog, Laika. They are seven people in her family. Father (Ole Johan), mother (Wenche), three brothers (Joakim, Eivind and Johan) and a little sister (Anna). Her house is red and very big. She’s a Christian and likes Unges, Antiokia, the teenagers group and a come together on Sundays. All these are for Christian people. She has many friends.

Marit is a girl, she is 14 years old. She has brown hair and green eyes. She’s not very tall, she’s 1,63 meters. They are six people in her family. Father (Olav), Mother (Rut), three brothers (Bjørn Ole, Even and Andreas.) Her house is white and very big. Joakim and Fredrick

Hello!

Our names are Fredrick and Joakim. We are both born in 1993.

We live in Norway, Vigrestad. Vigrestad is a very nice place to live.

Our hobbies are handball and football. We don’t have a good handball team. We lose all the time, and we enjoy it! We have a lot of homework, and we don’t like it that much. Math is isn’t that funny, but we get the best grades all the time! In our spare time we’re playing handball matches, we really like to lose. As you see losing is a big part of our lives.

At school we’re learning German. We love it! We can show you something: Wir heissen Joakim und Fredrick, wir wohnen in Vigrestad, Norwegen. Das schule ist sehr langweilig. We are very happy and we are smiling all day long. Joakim has one sister and one brother and they live on a farm. Fredrick’s parents are separated and he has one sister who is 12 years old and two little brothers who are 1 and 4 years old.

The weather in Norway isn’t that good. It’s rainy and cloudy all day long. But when it’s sun, we celebrate! We live in big houses made of tree. Joakim have one dog, two rabbits and hundreds of pigs, but Fredrick doesn’t have any pets. Joakim is 1.76 and Fredrick is 1.70 high. Fredrick has brown hair and Joakim has golden hair.

Stine and Elisabeth about themselves...

Hello.

Our names are Elisabeth and Stine. We are going to write a short text about ourselves.

We’re both born in 1993. Elisabeth’s birthday is on the 29^th of March and Stine’s birthday is on the 13^th of June. As you may have figured out, we’re turning 15 next year. We live in Vigrestad, not far from Stavanger. Stine have lived here her whole life and Elisabeth moved here when she was 6 years old, because her parents got divorced.

Elisabeth has many different hobbies. Her favourite hobby is handball, and she is very good at that. She also goes to the scout and Antiokia. Antiokia is a bible group and she thinks it’s very fun and interesting going there. A lot of her spare time goes to homework, she doesn’t really like doing homework, but that’s just the way it is. Elisabeth is a back player on the handball team.

Stine also has many different hobbies. Her favourite hobby is soccer, she thinks that’s very giving and she likes it a lot. She also goes to handball and Antiokia. On the soccer team is Stine the keeper, and she has always been that. On the handball team is Stine one of the wings. She also does a lot of homework on her spare time.

In the weekends, we spend most of the time with our friends. Elisabeth works at home, on the farm. That’s her “job”. In the evenings we hang out with friends, and we do all kinds of fun stuff together. Sometimes we go to Unges, that’s a Christian meeting which takes place every Saturday. Usually, on Sundays we play handball games, which are fun and exciting.

Elisabeth has got two little brothers, named Lars Olav and Sigurd. They are 13 and 10 years old. Her father lives on another side of the country, she visits him every holiday. Her mother lives here on Vigrestad with them, her name is Elsa and she is 45 years old. She rocks!

Stine has got two little sisters, named Julie and Dorthe. They are 12 and 7 years old. Her mother and father lives on Vigrestad with her. Their name is Anne Lise and Oddvin, they are 40 and 43 years old.

Elisabeth is a very funny and nice person. She’s always there when you need her, and she is good at anything she wants to be good in. She cares a lot about how other people feel, and she’s not selfish in any ways.

Stine always care about her friends and how they are. When you are down, Stine always make you feel better. She is a great friend and has many good qualities that she shows with her personality.

We spend a lot of time together, and we like each others company. That’s why we are so good friends.

Vigleik and Frode about themselves...

Hallo - our names are Frode, and Vigleik. We are going to tell about us. We are fifteen years old. In our spare-time we like to work. Frode works on a farm as a helper. Vigleik works also on a farm, doing the same work. At work we have to look after cattle. When not working, Vigleik likes to go bicycling. When Frode is not working he is with friends.

This Friday there is a Christmas Ball at our school. Almost all the youths are going there.

Frode owns his own sheep – there are five sheep all in all. So much of his spare time is spent looking after his sheep. In summer they are placed out-doors so the can graze fresh grass.

Vigleik ‘s hobby is bicycling. He trains seven hours during one week. During winter he trains indoors lifting weights and indoor cycling. During summer he participates in races and he goes for long roundtrips – up to 50-60 kilometres each training.

Vigleik is extremely proud of himself and his physical abilities. He is super-strong. He is also very whimsical and he can sometimes even forget who he is.

Frode is the coolest guy in class – he is so cool that water freezes when he is around!

My name is Hege. This text is about a girl called Marianne.

Marianne is born in 1993 in Stavanger hospital. She is now 14 years and 9 months old. She is a lovely and nice person, and she is not that high. Marianne has brown hair and blue eyes. She is a really fun person. Marianne lives in Vigrestad and goes to Vigrestad Storskule.

I’m a girl named Ingrid, and in this text, I wrote about Tonny.

Tonny is a funny and kind girl, and she has a good sense of humour. She was born a day in August 1993, and then she’s 14 years old. She is always happy at school and she makes the best out of every situation. If it is raining outside, she just smiling and laughing. I think she’s always positive and if she has a bad day, we can’t see it, because it doesn’t show on her.

In her spare-time, she uses a lot of her time with her friends, she also does homework. She’s really good at talking English and German. She’s also very good in PE, and plays football. But nowadays, the season is over and the new season has not begun, but I think she’s looking forward to begin again.

At Wednesdays, she goes to Antiokia, and so do I, but we’re not in the same group. Here we do Bible studies and talk about the bad, and the good things in our lives. It a very safe place to share our secrets, but I don’t know how much she uses to say there. She shares more secrets with her friends, that’s a friend we uses to be together with once a week, and she’s together with a girl named Christina. Something very good with Tonny, is that she’s not shy, and she’s not afraid of talking to new people. She knows a lot of people, just because of this.

I have known Tonny since I was four years old, and we have hung out with each other for a very long time. Sometime, many years ago, of course, we were fighting. Then we were very angry at each other, but it wasn’t more than one-two days before we were friends again. She’s a very good friend and she always supports her friends if they have problems.

Hello, my name is Tonny and I’m going to write about Ingrid.

Ingrid is a girl, she is 14 years old and the day of her birth is 5^th of May 1993. She has one brother, Olav who is 11 years old and two sisters, Madelen who is 16 years old and Frida who is 6 years old, one mother Merete and a father, Ingolf.

They live on a farm, she has two horses, Vigdis and Felix, and she uses a lot of her time on them. She goes on handball and her role on the team is to be the keeper, they train two times a week and almost every weekend they play matches. They are very good. On every Wednesday she goes on Antiokia. Antiokia is a home church and there are a lot of people there. You get in a group with people that are the same sex as you and the same age. You can tell everything to your group and they can’t tell it to someone else. One Wednesday each month she goes on 4H, they get a project that they choose themselves and they work on it the whole year and on a party called “Haustfest” (autumn festivity) they show it to people and they get a needle and a spoon. The four H’s stands for head, heart, hands and health.

Ingrid is a girl that is very good at school, she works hard. She is a smiling girl and she is happy most of the time. She has many friends and I think she uses some time on them. She is very positive and she’s not very shy. She is a very good friend.

I have known Ingrid since I was about four years old. I don’t live that far away from her and there weren’t many other children on our age in the area so we played together.

Mari has a mother and a father. They are not in “family”. Many parents in Norway are divorced. Mari lives with her mother in the week and on the Thursday she is living with her father. She also has a boyfriend. He’s named Tore Leidland. She can say very many things to him that she doesn’t say to me. I think that Mari and Tore is a good couple.

At the week she is with her friends and with Tore. When she was smaller, she went on football. But she doesn’t go on that now. At the weekend she are on party and drink a little bit.

Her favourite food is taco. Taco is good because it is very many vegetables and it is not junk food. Her favourite music is many band and artists. She likes hip hop and R&B very good. She listens to music all the time. She likes to sing and she is very good too. To dance, like her very good too. She goes on party and on the party she dance and sing very much. She likes to move her body. But she is not training.

Mari had two dogs when she was smaller. Karbo and Lisi. Karbo is a he and Lisi is a she. They were very nice and kind. Karbo did not like children. Mari doesn’t know Lisi very well.

From Aina and Ørjan

Hello.

We are Aina and Ørjan. We are gonna write a text about our friendship. We are in the same class, both are born in 1993. Ørjan’s birthday is the 7^th October. Aina’s birthday is the 26^th January. So that means that Aina is older than Ørjan, in a way.

Aina and Ørjan met each other for the first time in 8^th grade. Aina had just moved to Vigrestad from Dale, and Ørjan was one of her new classmates. He and some other friends showed her around at the school, and then they became friends. They are kidding a lot at school, so the teachers aren’t very fond of them. But I can’t say that Ørjan and Aina love them either…

Ørjan is a good boy. Sometimes he can laugh at the strangest things. He likes to watch TV and use the playstation. But most of all, he loves to be with his friends. That means that Ørjan is a very social person with good friends. He likes to eat hot dogs and potatoes. Once upon a time he played handball, but he quit because his team was too bad. Ørjan doesn’t like school very much. So we don’t talk so much about that.

Aina is a nasty girl with bad thoughts, she’s evil. She likes to use the computer and chat. She also likes to be with her wonderful friends and play playstation. Aina likes to dress like a weirdo and be total hyper. She’s also very smart and often gets good grades at school. She gets a lot of A’s. But she’s not a geek, so don’t call her that. Because she doesn’t do her homework, that’s just too boring for her. She loves music, all kinds of music – almost. Most of all she likes rock.

Ørjan and Aina like to watch Ørjan’s old team play handball. It’s very fun because they are so bad! So we laugh a lot. And after training they talk with Joakim. Joakim is cool. They also have other friends in the class like Elisabeth W, Eline, Mari, Madelen and Veronika.

Ørjan wants to be a truck-driver. Aina wants to be a musican or a designer. So they are not very alike. But that doesn’t mean that they can’t be friends. And they are good friends, you wouldn’t regret if you – once in this life – became friends with one of them. Seriously.
